The Mains Cafe
At The Grange Lifecare, we believe in creating a warm, welcoming space for our residents to gather and enjoy delicious food. Our Mains café is designed to be a hub of connection, comfort, and great meals, all made fresh on-site.
Café is open Monday to Sunday 8am to 4pm to residents and the public.
All food made on-Site
We take pride in preparing everything fresh in our kitchen. Every meal served in our café is made on-site with care, using high-quality ingredients. From wholesome breakfasts to delicious lunch options, we ensure that every bite is full of flavor and comfort.
Community Event Hire
Our café can be hired for community events, but please note that it is available exclusively for The Grange residents and local groups. We do not offer the café for general public hire, ensuring that our space remains primarily for our village community.
The word "manas" comes from Scottish Gaelic and refers to a farm or the collection of buildings that make it up, such as the farmhouse, byres, dairy, and workers' cottages. This term perfectly reflects the wholesome, homegrown essence of the food we serve. Just as a farm is the heart of a community, our café is the heart of our village.
Occasional Closures for Resident Events
As the café is designed specifically for our residents, there may be some days when it is closed for private resident events. We ask for your understanding on these occasions, as we prioritise our residents' experiences and activities.
